My husband and I are trying to buy a home in the Houston area this November, but don’t plan to fully move there until the summer.

I have a tenant moving out of an upper unit and a new one moving in shortly.

Then about 10 years ago I switched to key property management.

I know this is not the move...

Communication by all parties is key. 

I was very moved, we made a deal that fit their needs, we brought down the interest from the original 8% I was asking to 6.5% to meet their monthly max budget.

I also believe that we can utilize technological tools such as data analytics platforms and market research databases to track key metrics, market supply and demand, rental rates, and occupancy trends.

This constantly gets my name out there and now I’ve got people approaching me about moving into my units on a regular basis.

I advise people to hold property forever unless they can move the money into another investment that produces a greater return or moves them closer to their goals.

Another option is to split the cost based on the number of occupants in each unit but this also means you'll need to adjust the charges as tenants move in/out, so it requires more work and I wouldn't recommend it.
