I'm not saying there are opportunities like this for everyone, but I want to encourage you to take big steps toward your goals where you can see immediate impact; if your plan is to go to school to find a job unrelated to real estate so you can get a small increase in pay to be able to grow your portfolio a little quicker through the traditional route, I'd have to say it feels like a waste of time.
