The main house, and a bunch of 1/1s and studio on the other structures.and I am guessing these "main houses" wouldn't appeal to typical SFR tenants, unless you make the rent low enough.

The other ten units consist of 4 studios (550 per month or 2700 per semester, utilities included), 5 one bedrooms ( 650 per month utilities included) and one 2 bedroom that rents for 800 (with utilities included).

My experience with real estate so far has been the process of buying and selling my first studio in a coop in Manhattan.

You can't go out and become a plumber AND an electrician, so what I'd recommend is to get yourself 'The book on flipping' (which comes with 'The book on estimating' if you order it on this site, from menu above, instead of on Amazon  - although I'm not sure if BP delivers to Alaska - they don't to Canada).

I agree with that scenario.How about Amazon?   

I just closed on a 3-2 concrete block home with a shop / studio rental last Friday 7/15/16  and met contractors at 5pm that day.  

It sits in a great location ( 2 minutes from prime shopping at the Premium Outlets, 4 mins from Universal Studios, just off of International Dr which is prime for tourists and attractions).
