@Todd Powell I worked with a terrific woman who was similarly "forced" to make a decision sooner than wood be normal.

We actually know the neighbor and got some basic information from him, so I know the woman’s name and her profession, I know that the home was supposed to be being purchased so the buyer went in and gutted it then there were some financial difficulties so the sale never went through.

Dont put a property under contract assuming that this woman will absolutely buy it from you, there are tons of reasons why it might not work out.

I was told by a woman earlier that buying a property and renting it out to medical or grad students would be great because they would be required to keep up on rent in order to get and keep residency.

Thanks for the feedback, but it's an older woman who had a relationship with the previous owner and agreed to stay on for the transition.

The property is owned by  an elder woman whose son was  selling her property because she is terminally ill.

I asked the realtor if she educated her seller on the area, she simply said that this is the amount of money that he wants.Sorry to go a little geek but this reminds me of a Simpsons episode where this older woman is trying to sell the Comic Book guy all this valuable stuff.
