Any insight would be great, I am hoping to have some equity in this- I know turn key rentals aren't always the best thing to jump on but I am focuses on the location of this house more than anything. 3/2 great area, would present nicely as short term rental during tourist season or a long term rental .

The regulation specifically states that this exception may apply to a portion of a home used to furnish lodging to tourists or to long-term boarders such as students (if that portion is regularly available for occupancy by paying customers and the owner is not treated as using that portion as a residence during the tax year).

No one thinks about the tourists in the taxis that spend 80$ on what should have been an 18$ ride and the working class people stuck on the cross town busses being made late to work... and when they shut down the Brooklyn bridge the traffic backs up across the bridge on the brooklyn queens expressway causing headaches for tons of truck drivers who just want to get there trucks back to the lot and get on the train to go home...
