There are multiple strategies to take advantage of opportunities during an expansion.  

I thought I would add onto this older post, but I'm curious if anyone has any feedback on Sherman from an MTR or STR Strategy. 

It's not simple, sorry.If you have not closed, consider tax mitigation strategies such as a 1031 exchange.

Always keep an eye on interest rates to optimize cash flow and return on equity. if you switch to long term hold investing, you'll want to see if equity stripping is a strategy that works for you. 

Both sound strategies.
