The buyers had it surveyed and it came back as 2.4.My realtor was great, because she never let me know until a year later when I asked her to sell another house.

Access to each lot should be considered... is there road frontage for each and if not, then you may have to explore creating an easement(s).You can certainly get feedback here on BP, however, you may well be best served consulting with a local real estate attorney well versed in zoning matters in your area along with surveying/engineering folks.Good luck!

I do not think there is a right answer only one that fits your business model.And yes you will go thru the sub-vendors all the time, We survey our tenants after every maint ticket to make sure the job was done correctly.

I saw this article, and thought it was worth posting here.The number of people who believe now is a "good time to buy a home" has been stagnant for the last 6 months, but, according to University of Michigan's latest survey, there has not been more people who believe now is a "good time to sell" since March 2006... which marked the absolute peak in US home prices...What happens next...When everyone knows it's a bubble?
