Thus things you measure to see how well it is performing.For direct mail marketing for many ( and I am the only one convinced the whole world is doing it wrong...)..a KPI is measuring how many calls you get per campaign or how many deals you make per campaign.So their goal with DMM is convincing people to take the plunge and sell their house to you.My KPI is simply how many people I can send to my website.
