We've had some challenges with a tenant paying late and had to mail notices from London to their house but have managed through it and collected each month.Does anyone else use family to help mange the properties and if so do you pay them?

rental is NG dont go at 1%flip is slim- 130K at 10% closing/selling expense brings it to 117K purchase at 91K leaves 26K without rehab costs.

To my knowledge, excluding deployment, the longest a NG/RES Soldier has training in a YR is 14 consecutive days and then obviously drill once a month (on a weekend).Like previous posters have said ask the tenant to provide a copy of orders.

Buy a small rental close to where you live if possible ,I would not mention how much money you have keep that vague but let them you know you are serious .Tip toe into this with caution spending only a portion of your money  do your home work  Google any company that you are looking at hiring to mange your rental see what you find .
