Essentially gamifying the learning of real estate jargon, terms, laws, etc!

I recently purchased a Short Term rental property and plan to self manage the property.

If you were to buy a house comparable to what you are renting, it would eat up that $1000/month you are currently saving.I would count your lucky stars for the cheap rent (my brother pays that much for a 1bed/1bath apartment in Long Beach) and use the savings to invest in another market.

I suppose they would be able to help me figure it out but I’m still trying to determine what is the best way to fund something like this and would it be better to sell off the entire purchase once split into separate parcels or is there a way to structure a deal as to where I could sell off some of the land to repay the loan/investors and also retain a portion of it to develop with my own short term rentals.

Purchase price: $320,000 Currently have a long term renter, the rent pays the mortgage and other expenses but provides no cash flow.

I would only recommend moving on this if you are comfortable owning it for the long term.

Anyone has any experience with CHBO for mid-term rentals or corporate rentals in Atlanta suburbs?

How long does that take?

Historically, you will have your 7% return that way - without much risk in the long term. 

We got a really good deal on it because it was sitting for a long time and we came in under asking direct to the agent for the seller.
