Is it legal to offer to rent the property back to the homeowner who already lost their home to foreclosure when negotiating the redemption rights purchase? 

Hi @Kenzer Hodgson to @Sarah Kensinger's point above, I'm not a fan of so many people spreading legal advice/insight on the forums, but at least it's better than Instagram/Facebook and YouTube. 

If cash flow is what you are after, set up a coffee trailer, wash houses, sell digital assets, launch a Shopify store, set up ATMs, buy a title company, coin laundry, a party rental business a car body shop etc.. and then invest the cash flow in real estate! 

It's basically a legal 2-unit that can cashflow $900/month.

Add to that the fact that many Hispanics are turning to the R party for relief from the insanity.We shall see..... 

Or really they were ALL pre foreclosures when it was legal to do this in OR and WA laws changed in 08.

I understand this is not a requirement, but I have never received a damaged unit from an inherited tenant or any legal issues.

Additionally, regarding the legal structure, an LLC seems to be the most suitable option for our situation.

All existing STRs with 2 days rented in the last year will be granted legal non-conforming status.  

Seems to be there was a bad judgement on the rehab from all parties.
