FLY OUT.

3rd floor rodent problem, mice don't fly so they are coming from your neighbours.

There was food on plates left around the living room, fly strips hanging from the kitchen light, fruit snacks on the carpet, and the toilets/showers looked like they had not been cleaned in 6+ months.

I'm 60 now when I was a kid, they told us we were all going to be in flying cars by 2020, we were all going to be eating food from tubes like the astronauts , YEAH RIGHT! 

Are water supply lines in galvanized piping or copper, which is curre fly used.

It has panned out, and at 27 years old, they are flying in the RE world!

For me to consider buying out of state property I have the ability to be able to drive or fly there if needed.Could rent out your current house than move to another live in it for the required period of time than turn that into rental as well.Figure out what your long term goals are of and work backwards  from there.

Me, it would cost several hundreds to fly out from LA, plus vacation time, plus car, plus hotel (I can't stay with my daughter, I'm allergic to that mutt of hers).

That said, I agree with @Todd Powell- you catch more flies with honey.
