I don't even say 'walk to' shopping, entertainment, bus line, etc.  

Just make sure you are good with online classes because you can be easily distracted as it has no entertaining aspects to it.  

We also have an entertaining podcast, that is conveniently filled with tons of real estate information.Have you set up your keyword alerts yet?

@James Borin welcome to BP, you will,find a wealth of information here, the podcast are also very educational and entertaining. 

They said the cost of living was high as property taxes are higher %'s upkeep of the home from extreme weather and overall higher from all the activities  that had to come up with to get out of the house clothing, entertainment , the right snow cars not mention wear and tear on the vehicles.

With 5500 sq/ft in GV you will get more bang  for your buck if the house can entertain well.
