I am willing to do whatever is necessary in order to provide my family with the type of life they deserve, which begins with me being happy and enthusiastic in my work life.

That may not happen soon.I believe the stock market is a casino to those who do not take advantage of market timing, granted it is still a risk because it could theoretically go down to zero, but we all know that is not going to happen since our retirement plans are predominately invested in equities.
