Hello All!

My name is Paul Roemer and I live in Jacksonville, Florida. I have zero experience in the real estate world (aside from purchasing my own home several years ago) but it is something I have always wanted to get more educated about and this seems like a wonderful place to begin that process. I separated from the Army in 2013 and moved with my family to Florida. I used my GI Bill to finish my undergrad but I have struggled to find a career I am passionate about and motivated to go to everyday. I have been doing some serious soul searching and life planning and I discovered that becoming a real estate investor would be a likely path toward genuine freedom (not only financially but spiritually because I want to be happy in what I do) and I have finally been able to get my wife on board, though she is admittedly nervous. I would like to be a full-time real estate investor (the sooner the better, I am hoping for 3-6 months) but I also know it is hard work and I need help. I am willing to do whatever is necessary in order to provide my family with the type of life they deserve, which begins with me being happy and enthusiastic in my work life. At any rate, I look forward to meeting as many people as I can and just being a sponge that soaks up as much quality information as possible.
