@Matt A.When you sign the documents you will have to sign your name as trustee/ authorized signatory etc etcPersonally 99% of the population has no idea how to look up who owns what and unless your a famous athlete or someone who has paparazzi following you it’s typically overkill.

But end of the day if the collateral value is such with back tax's a usually work to be done on it by the time U add legal fee's back interest etc.. there is zero chance of 100% recovery it becomes how much are U going to lose and how much more do you want to spend chasing this.. as in throwing good money after bad.
