This is terrible news for the already-walloped tourism industry in L.A.

All of the clients that I manage vacation rentals for here have been able to continue to make mortgage payments even when tourism was shut down and they had no airbnb income for months.

Anybody have some favorite Asia companies (preferably from a Vietnam port) to work with and import countertops, cabinets, and/or vinyl flooring? 

I'm an Army type, enlisted and later commissioned.Reminds me that after WWII Korea and Viet Nam I'd say most men in construction and related RE fields were vets.

If you send the military door to door collecting guns, there would be more dead Marines in the first week than during the entire Vietnam War.

In the last couple of years, many people here bought properties in Myrtle Beach, which has had a volatile market for resort properties.The tourism has done pretty well even during the crisis as many foreigners especially Canadians have taken the currency exchange advantages, and as a result, the Myrtle Beach airport is expanding.

They've made a couple of other great promotions for tourism as well, and as far as I can tell from the people I meet around town, it's working.

It feels as if I'm reinventing the wheel.Will be on a business trip to get more to work with later this week, but it comes down to this: I would like to get comfortable with the concept of (1) tourism location scouting, (2) boutique hotels, (3) luxury hotel launches.And please don't say Donald Trump ;-)
