Is it OK for the operating company to claim depreciation for the properties that are owned by the holding company.This situation could cause major passive loss issues depending on your situation.Scott Smith has refused to weigh in on this “difference” and has since referred me to a CPA who is so busy that I won’t be able to speak to him on the phone until May.

One I did have direct contact and several phone calls with the owner of the program but he was intent on steering me to create a syndication which was not the stated goals of the program or what I had stated was my intention when I was pre-screened for the program.

Back to today: I got off the phone with my agent, where I communicated how I wanted to present my offer (in summary: if the seller rejects my original offer, I hope they'll make a counteroffer, but if I decline that counteroffer, I will move on to make an offer on the next property of the few I am interested in the market - this is to avoid a back-and-forth and the property had been listed for a year with a 25% price cut in that time).

Skip Tracing, you can use Whitepages.com or any number of other sites to look up the owner's info and you can call them on the phone.3.
