.- Robert-Lee don't buy in rural anywhere. property values are lower, rental interest is lower, new construction comps are harder to come by. we build in Columbus Ohio and the things I look for are subdivisions within 5 miles from a large builder delivering at least 2 homes a month or more, 30 miles or less to the city center, public utilities, no flood plain, etc.

It is approximately a 5 minute drive to a Level I Trauma Center.

I own MTR's in a San Antonio medical center and I can give you this advise: Traveling nurses/professionals are looking for small accommodations (lower price point), they are concerned with safety, as they are usually women traveling alone, well-lit walkways by their parking spot, private entrances/bath/laundry.

City was trying to gentrify downtown (new convention center, condos, etc.) but parking is terrible so I doubt how successful it is.

Mobile, Alabama, is not only a cultural hub but also a burgeoning center for commercial real estate investment.

For older demographics, consider the availability of medical centers, entertainment, and restaurants.Buildings/Permits: Assess the city's growth compared to previous years.Determine if the city can accommodate future supply.Government Regulations: Examine the city's efforts and the type of businesses they are targeting.
