I think my association is trying to pass a rule so I can no longer rent out my unit (I am currently the only rental).I read through the "Declaration of Condominium Ownership" and Bylaws and there is no mention of rental restrictions except a "first right option".

For practical purposes this means any upgrades you do to your unit above the most basic features (vinyl and carpeted floor, discount appliances, etc.) must be insured by your condominium unit owners policy.
