When in the rehabbing process, what are some good floor material, material for cabinets, shelves and kitchen applainces etc.

My thinking is that carpet is basically the cheapest flooring you can put in, if someone wants 'nicer carpet' I tend to push them in the direction of a solid surface.

They may have hardwood floors that can be pulled up and sold.
