Turned out the gentleman that brought the claim was heading back to work on his first day back from disability when he claimed he hurt his neck in our accident, allowing him to go back on the clock.

I also know I need to reside in the residence for the time set by the lender, not the VA.I didn’t have to pay the VA funding fee because of a service disconnected disability, would I need to pay it if I use my second tier entitlement?

If you do not have a history for the income on your tax returns, you should be able to provide the lender with the current lease agreement.  1 unit primary residence allows for rental income if the person has a disability and you are some sort of caregiver and can provide 12 months of payments.Long story short, find a different lender!
