Part of me wants to counter with an increase above listing maybe making me responsible for 30% vs 100% of the costs and say take it or im going to ride out the weekend where i already have 6 showings scheduled and its only Wednesday and put pressure back on him.

I'd say a roof is more like 25 to 30 years these days anyway - if you're going with the better shingle which most people do nowadays.Again, just taking the depreciation schedule and saying that the IRS version of the useful life is how long it will actually last is the whole problem with this argument.

It is up to them to meet my timeline.The ice maker isn't working....they can work out the schedule with the appliance repair guy understanding they are responsible for any charges associated with missed appointments.

Doing a good deed once for someone is appropriate, but once someone does a good deed for the same person on a routine basis, then the person doing the good deed begins to feel pressure on themselves to keep doing it, because now they think it’s expected of them, and they don’t know how to “get out of it” Thus, bitterness develops, anger, and a lashing out, which ends up in “Bad Blood” between them.
