So i convinced my wife while on deployment that i want more financial freedom after reading the book Rich Dad Poor Dad.i have been reading books recommended in the book and just have a few questions.1.

He has a history of making poor financial decisions. 

I'd bet there is and therefore there is no 'housing shortage'.

I have a friend who is an investor up that way that is cash poor and needs to invest if you have any leads.

She is a fantastic estates and probate attorney here in town and I bet she can help save the deal and get you what you need.

If your goals are cash flow only (as in you want mail box money to live off of), then finding that cash flow market would be your best bet.

Off-market is likely your better bet.

However, many times those listings are just poorly marketed.
