If you were able to actually occupy and travel back and forth overseas and back to the US but keep it as your USA primary residence, maybe that would open up options as a second home/primary, etc. depending on the full situation.

I thought it would depend on bank appetite but I've heard back that vacancy isn't an issue so long as the property is self sustaining as is.I think there's a fine line between filling an open spot and resurrecting a dying center though.

The tenants call us to report a problem, we call him, he calls the tenants back to coordinate a time to fix the problem.  

The firm I worked with in the past charged me massive fees, largely because we were higher income and they didn't back it up with value.

If the 10% penalty comes out to $3,000 it would only take 3 months to make the money back.
