With most sub-metering comanpies the owner/manager is not involved in the day to day busines of the sub-metering meter reading , billing or collections (RBC services).  

That being said, you should always have multiple "exit" strategies, so it's wise to run the numbers for both options. 

I need an opinion from disinterested party......I’m involved with a debate between contractors.

I have seen multimillionaire with a single entity and beginner with multiple. whatever makes you sleep at night.

The question I have is if all parties involved agreed that we sign a written contract voiding the existing contract ending on 10/30/2018 and then have the existing tenant that wants to stay and the new tenant sign a new contract, why wouldn't that work?
