I also have no problem with a closed end fund that is acquiring specific assets - as long as each project can stand on its own and a good deal isn't bundled with some mediocre or bad deals.

Hey @Kevin Yun, It's my understanding that for any building four units or less, the registered host has to live in the building as a primary residence and can only Airbnb one's own unit and one other.

All they are willing to offer is to forward a letter to the host who is my business partner. 

We are park hosts, reservation agents, etc... basically whatever is needed by the park.

Cities have economic development departments, or the like, which publish all sorts of data on demographics, income, housing, schools, population growth, growth, employment,  and a host of other data.

An outright ban will almost certainly never happen because the city figures it is better to make money of hosts than them do it illegally and lose everything. 

You don't need to have their permission - but you need to give notice (usually 48 to 72 hours in advance) for a host of reasons including a required/needed repair.

I have a client who I helped find a place with a basement unit, they rented the basement to someone for below-market rent and then that person got the license and added the owner as a co-host.
