The surrounding area is filled with grocery stores, food places, etc. and other things many college students look for.

There's this good book called Rich Dad, Poor Dad that I never hear about on any of the BP podcasts (insert sarcasm).

@Caleb Heimsoth For my school it is about 6-7k per semester for food and dorm.

Please, don't follow the "gurus" who will tell you take buy 4K houses on your credit card or who promise that you can get rich overnight.
