No where in their publications were "dirty drip pans" on the range listed as a reason for failure; when I asked about this, the answer was, essentially, tough beans. 

Restaurants have a high failure rate because they are limited to people they can reach based on geographic location whereas internet based companies can reach millions.

Liz Faircloth gave a wonderful presentation focused on their successes and failures that gave a great realistic view of what real estate investing is really like and it made me think large failures or setbacks happen to investors and, rather than just stewing in a failure, I need to get up and keep moving forward.7.

You could still make money on a deal, but you won't make as much as if you've seen 25 homes and know what all values and repair looks like in the market.Also, one more thing I think that is a big failure mechanism for new investors is ego.
