With respect to how much it costs for a buyout, the City of San Francisco required the collection of this data starting almost 10 years ago back in 2015. 

I previously had a self directed IRA with Entrust and had numerous issues mostly related to the time it takes then to process requests, which can potentially cause you to lose out on deals.

You can find deals in the high $900,000s that need some work so if you’re up for some sweat equity that could also be an option.
