Are you able to use an apartment or condo or townhouse to AirBnB?

My husband and I are seeking contractor bids to renovate our first buy-and-hold duplex, which was built in 1918 in Norfolk, VA.

I own a unit in a small condo-only building in Chicago.

It is a top/bottom duplex with shared backyard and there is a bit of work to get it up to speed for renting that I am proceeding with now.  

But my attorney and I are having the foreclosure amended.rather than having the Condo Association proceed subject to the first mortgage, amend the Magistrate’s Decision to transfer the first mortgage to the proceeds.

San Francisco Bay Area- Househack Question- If we were looking to purchase a Duplex using a conventional loan- putting 20% down- in the area between San Jose, CA and San Mateo, CA-1) Is it at all feasible to find a decent duplex for $900,000?

I found out that my rents were way below market, I had to contact them to raise the rents from $1000 to $1200 a floor.I think I' small fish, they manage condo complexes and I'm a small dude with 1 triplex.
