The prices was the same, the market wasn't that much different, so I expected the same level of appraisal - or to be told / given the option up front.

Your best bet is to start networking with other flippers at meetups, REIA meetings, and as an agent.At the highest level, flipping is very easy, you need to know rehab costs and ARV.

The easiest and safest solution, but usually not the most practical, is for the LLC and its members to stay together and sell the relinquished property and then have the LLC also structure the 1031 Exchange at the LLC level and buy the replacement property under the LLC (partnership).
