if old tenant shut off electric and new tenant set new start date, tbere is no electricity to bill on...nothing will work. it would probably be in your best i terest to try to set up a landlord account so when old tenant shuts electric off, it automatically switches into your name. then when new tenant moves in they give start date for themselves. this allows you to do work and show place inbetween tenants

They make an automatic transfer into the account, and the payments on the house get deducted automatically from the account.
