I've been considering selling the commercial property but I was hoping to get a year of good STR returns post Covid so I could show just how valuable to property is to a prospective buyer before putting it on the market.

I thought it might be valuable to create a separate thread.  

I have heard agents say this before but no one has ever been able to explain why the purchase price is not as valuable consideration, as the future promise to sell the property for that price.  

If the land is that valuable eventually the city/county will have to move on it and free up the resources for productive use.In my area the value of the ground isn't there.

BiggerPockets has been a great resource so far, and I am excited to make valuable connections out of it!

Once you've seen a property and know the area, the calculators can be really valuable, but if you don't understand how the calculations change from state to state, you will be way off.

It is a valuable piece.

But then again the landlord can also just be trolling you with receipts in hand ready for you to make the next move so he can counter sue you🤷🏽‍♂️  RealEstate is just an adult version  of Chess you win some you loose some but you always learn a valuable lesson at the end.  

That being said though, any sweat equity you put into a home is valuable. 

These are very valuable info for me as I beginner in the real estate investing world.I have looked at the comps in the area and I think I'm pretty much on par.
