They lived on the other side of our personal duplex so, while I wouldn't go quite as far as to call us friends, we did know them better and had a friendlier relationship with them as compared to our other tenants that we didn't share a backyard and porch with!

A good market for me includes at least 1Million population with low unemployment, good jobs, cheap houses and business friendly and fiscally responsible city / state (check their credit rating).
