The upper unit 2 bedroom 1 bath is currently occupied with a lovely couple paying $1,000 month rent which is nicely paying off our mortgage.

IE  bed bath beyond.. they said was for our personal homes ..

Basically, the downstairs is a 2 bed 1 bath MIL unit with laundry in the garage and the upstairs is a 3 bed 2 bath with the laundry in the unit.

For example, you cant bring in the dirt to raise the lot above the street line.
