I have yet to find any flooring or carpet specific person that can beat the price I get from Lowes.

Here is what is going on:I purchased a 4-plex on September 11, 2014. 2 of the 4 units came occupied, so I inherited two different families as tenants.I am utilizing FHA 203k financing on this property, so I would ideally like to start with a clean slate, and have the place empty for the contractors to get their work done.

Building has commercial units on the ground floor and residential units above.

Nice wood floors and woodwork throughout. 

Common thing new landlords get caught up in is assuming that they get to start with a clean slate.  

If they are upgraded with recent floor coverings, kitchen upgrades, new windows etc.

There is no reason to fear living in an apartment/apartment building/MFH/whatever that's housed somebody who had Ebola (or, to be honest, who died and splattered their Ebola-soaked blood all over the floor).
