House Flipping in New Jersey?
9 May 2024 | 8 replies
Hey guys, I’m located in NJ & I wanted some feedback regarding to flipping properties in this state as an investor.I come to the conclusion that NJ is terrible to be a landlord in, especially with the process to evict someone.I spoke to a few people who mentioned NJ is great for flipping but I wanted more feedback from others who are familiar with the process here or flipping in general in a state compared to NJ.thanks

I'm nervous because I've never had a business before and I still have a full-time job as a cloud solutions architect, which I'm really passionate about - so hopefully it won't be my golden handcuffs that may prevent me to thrive as an investor and I'm excited because of all the benefits and freedoms being a business owner offers, one of which is to connect and collaborate with forums like this and people like all of you, where I can both learn from and hopefully share later as I develop more experience. :-)

for the FWIW file and congrats on selling your bizz thats a nice payday.most of the folks I have done bizz with over the years that are very liquid will buy as high end of rentals as they can IE A class and put professional management in there. many states require on site manager over a certain amount of units as well.. so the PM is really managing this employee that is mandatory for you to have.. this could work well for you you manage the on site manager let them do the dirty work and you stay engaged and gives you something to do.. good luck with it..
