I’ve become obsessed with listening to all the BP podcasts, they are so helpful!

Ok so I’ve listened to most of the Rental Property Investing and wanted to give my situation and hear some options/opinions from others that are already doing what I want to do.I was given a house (3bd/1bth) by my father but I am currently living in it.

Give it a listen!

Presuming you have a descent NOI on the property that would support a very occasional $200 expense, and you aren't worried about starting some sort of 'trend' with multiple tenants suddenly complain to get a new appliance, why not try and swap it out and appease the tenant.You win in more than one way... (1) the tenant quits complaining / you get peace and quiet, (2) when you raise their rent the next time they feel like you listened to their concerns and took care of them, etc (you buy some good will).  

Hello Folks, So i was listening to this recent BP podcast interviewing a lady who ran a successful vacation rental business , in the podcast she mentioned that you could get a vacation rental investment loan to purchase a property with 10% down?

Also, don’t listen to all of the “expert” naysayers above,(@Lucas Carl) is just lucky that they work in vacation markets instead of urban markets where regulations are more of an issue. 

@Melanie HartmannIt really was i have started listening to podcasts more into mindset than just mainly looking into RE strategies.

Start with reading some books on this and listening to some podcasts. 

Currently, I am listening to podcasts (BiggerPockets) to understand as much as I can.
