The stated need for a service or assistance animal should be made part of the rental application or rental agreement, which lays the groundwork for the non-curable default and subsequent eviction of a tenant who lies.

Businesses who buy, improve, sell, and manage properties are popping up left and right to realize a legitimate demand... which is FINE.. but many are in for the short run and they, in turn, are blighting their own cities in exchange for a short term financial gain.Now for OOSI's that don't utilize providers & professional management and allow their properties to lay barren- I 100% agree with you that they are at fault.

Dirt everywhere, kitchen floor tiles and counter broken (as if someone was in a rage and banged some heavy pots on them), the bathroom vanity was destroyed, the front lawn was green and quite nicely looking yet they let it go dead even when we were paying for the gardener.

An example,  I do not know about the area your in but Where we operate in there are still some unbuilt projects laying around from the last down turn in the economy if you find one of these you could end up with plans, marketing materials, city approvals to some level. we just got one in KC it has everything and city approval the land with the approved project cost us in the 600k range and it is a 200 unit project ready to build. this kind of thing takes a bit of searching but its worth the effort.
