We are flying to Louisville for 3 days about a month from now to get a feel for the area and are wondering if anyone has advice on how to best feel out neighborhoods and potential deals while on a weekend trip? 

However, I've come to the conclusion that it's smarter to buy a cashflowing property wherever you can find it, and use some of that cashflow to go on a nice trip. 

She's even driven an hour to come visit when she has very little income to cover the gas for the trip.

I just came back from a one week business trip to Dallas.

I drove 8 hours to view it before closing, met the PM, and had some fun with my old man for a day during the trip.

I heard that there's a lot of great opportunities in Ohio for multifamily properties so I'm looking to take a trip at the end of the month. 

Going to be taking a trip out there in 2 weeks so trying to line up some properties to check out.

LOL   I actually met with him and his side kick on one of my funding trips to Chicago.. another buy i met in Chicago on that trip filled me in on his issues in the Philippines and his  Alias's etc.

@Alex Craig Thanks, I spoke with Andrew at TK and am planning to take a trip out there when my current sale closes after Nov. 18.

My goal would be for it to pay for itself and cover the cost of my trip.
