Should I assume it will fall on deaf ears?

The easy fall back is to say; "sure that is for a software engineer". 

My plan is to be able to have enough money saved to invest this fall.

Generally speaking should I have the expectation my realtor should assist me (provide contractors, call them for quotes, etc)  as this is part of selling my house or does this fall on me as a homeowner?
