I hope I will one day have the gusto to chase it down like you do; I am just not sure it'll be in my first couple.

Obviously there are other options, but you’ve narrowed it down to just two so at least you’re not chasing shiny squirrels down rabbit holes. 

I'm not sure how they'd verify information like how much time you spend there, and coming from another no-income-tax state like Florida I'm not sure anybody would chase you down for the info (*waves from Tampa where I'm visiting family*).  

If he is not collecting rent, posting notices for late rent and chasing down late rents why would you give him a % of the rents.  

The 1st day or so everyone was jittery with excitement after Doug mentioned things like the secret software we will get access to that shows us exactly what houses to pursue, or when he would coyly mention the technique to chase the money AFTER the foreclosure already happened without flipping.
