I went into a Month-month lease agreement w/ a long-term tenant once the annual lease was ending.

It's obvious that a home built in recent years is a good thing because it was built according to updated codes - but I've learnt that because labor costs have been so high developers have skimped on using quality materials (I'm in WA state).Is there a year in which homes were built that you might consider a 'sweet spot' year or is latest always the greatest?

I currently live in Bremerton WA with my husband, we don't own a property here and we will be staying in Bremerton till May 2022 (we don't know where we are going next).

I'm not sure how to respond to potentials sellers when talking w/ them about how I can help them w/ a lease option when they ask if they will be able to get another loan to buy a different property?
