Even once they do get proper crowdfunding platforms approved and out there, my understanding is that you would need to go through a platform.

Zillow is a sales platform.

I have no doubt you will use this platform to your advantage! 

A tenant's bank won't give you money unless the tenant specifically authorizes it (and a bill/invoice won't cut it)I would look into electronic rent platforms like Cozy.co (or others).

Use this platform to get all the knowledge you need and go for it.
