Properties on "the Hill" or with Island Rights are good in terms of occupancy and rental rates.

I'm from the Long Island area of NY I'm considering investing in the capital region of NY(Albany Troy Schnectady etc) for buy and hold. 

I’m 29 years old and I’m a newbie RE investor based out of Long Island, NY.

I have property on the barrier island.  

Worcester, Somerville, South Boston, Rhode Island (downtown areas) all have plenty of these types.

I'll probably be traveling to Long Island in the Bahamas early next year to look at a few properties.I'd be happy to catch up for a conch salad in Nassau if anyone is keen?

@Matt Caven, honestly im looking all over, I just started searching the MLS in Long Island, like @Brian Pulaski said, what is out there, is listed off the bat too high, I'm thinking I came into this a few years too late lol.

I live in TN but have a place on Top sail Island and plan to retire there one day. 

I'm not sure of your area that the eviction was in rhode Island.

St Johns, St Augustine, most all of county, Clay County flaming Island, near River, Nassau County Yulee, Duval near Town Center , or downtown...im a rehabber, flipper, newly licensed Fl rockin it..love it... im holding in Cary, and Briercreek (raleigh) NC too...i love that too...NC, SC, Ga are awesome as a possum...
