Since west coast markets have little to NO section 8 by and large.

I currently rent an apartment in Dover NH, I have lived in all the major cities in the state and recently settled in Dover to get closer to the beautiful northeastern sea coast I currently work full time as a Chief Maintenance engineer at a hotel in Portsmouth NH.My goals in real estate at the moment are to have financial freedom and develop a solid foundation of cash flow properties to further my real estate investing in the future.I was turned on to Bigger Pockets by a friend who listens to the podcast.  

Being from the western side of the country, the path of least resistance pulls me to Texas and California.

@Rich Ng my current plan was to start buying multi-families in the south coast area starting with an FHA loan.

Western Md , jobs are scarce , the economy isnt that great up there .

It will work out.Might have to expand the search west of western too?
