If you go to work for a national home builder (Toll, KHOV, DR HORTON, PULTE, etc.) you will get great exposure to land development (acquisitions, entitlement, improvements, sales, construction, HOA's, etc.).I worked for home builders for a long time and I was always willing to help my team (supers, construction managers, admins, etc.) learn more about the process and improve themselves.

For national banks, you virtually have no chance speaking to anyone with actual authority to sell you this property outside their standard system.

@Michael Brockway   The restricted zone, according to Article 27 of the Mexican Constitution, is all land located within 100 kilometers of any national border and within 50 kilometers of any ocean.

We have rented our space out on numerous occasions and have not had any issues(knock on wood).
