As far as I understand it, vacation/investment home loans at 10% are harder to come by now.We primarily use STR but aim for MTR during the off-season.

I'm in the talks with a seasoned investor who is looking to slowly pass along his properties.I am in the kitchen cabinet/countertop industry, so he is a customer of mine who uses me to provide cabinets and counters for his rentals. 

A season investor here but new to STR?

., dishwasher is not required, but it will be nice to install it.During this holiday season, we have a lot of appliances offers, and you can easily get a dishwasher with a decent discount.

It's just hard to maximize your returns when you really only have a peak season and a slower off season. 

This is our first year filing with the STR's so I am very anxious about the tax season and am very concerned I am not set up with the right CPA.   

No need to worry about 1099's and I simply ask for a single yearly invoice for tax season.  

I assume the busy season is only a few months out of the year so was wondering if it makes sense to buy because it's probably pretty dead the rest of the year?
