Either unit 3 will have to use a Laundromat until your tenant in unit 1 leaves, or you'll have to agree on some sort of compensation for the service (not needing to share) that you're taking away.If the tenant was told when they moved in that the laundry would be shared, tell them you're glad they got to enjoy sole use of it for so long and get over it (nicely).

I would spend summers working at job sites so the construction aspect is not foreign to me.I am also a trained CFP, certified financial planner, so the numbers aspect is not confusing.I suppose the main challenge I have is actually buying a house.

to be honest, i would just not tell them what your after.. i have been scouting out brokers since i just passed my state exam here in Florida and i have found that many agents in the office are only part time or still have their license at the office, but after a few months found no success and had to get another job in hopes of coming back and never did.. so many agents according to the brokers ive talked to had many agents with 0 sales for the entire year.. your an independent contractor to them, they cant force you to bring them business.. they make money no matter what way you find houses using their office...

On that note, some may see home prices as too rich, may be be moving in a few years, or in a cyclical job (oil, some types of construction, etc), so they don't take the plunge on a purchase...Best of luck!

Hi,I am owning a nice house currently worth 600K (clean from any mortgage or debt) and finally understood that sitting on this kind of asset is just a monthly waste of money.As I am completely new to the real estate investment business, I am wondering whether it would be the right way to sell my current house and buy several assets for rental or keeping this and getting a loan/mortgage and buy, probably, fewer assets.I am sure there are many answers to my question but I'd really appreciate to just get some kind of idea of what the right direction would be.Thanks in advance for any replies
